| Day 1 - Soooo boring , until the engine packed up. We literally had to sail into Watchet marina. I've never seen Mum jump so quickly onto the pontoon. |
| Day 2 - We
were safe and sound in Watchet. I woke up feeling really ill - 24 hour bug
or something. The engine was ill too. When Dad came back in he looked and
smelt like the poor old engine had been sick all over him. Yuk! But its
not all that bad I amazingly recovered for steak dinner that evening. |
| Day 3 - We
get the engine half fixed and we're off to Ilfracombe. Ill again- really
ill from lack of sea sickness tablets. hmmm Any way the engine dies and
were stuck in Ilfracombe with all the shops.Oh well we'll just have to cope. |
| Day 4 - In
Ilfracombe we discover the tunnel beaches and the Cinema ( Hallelujah !
) Oooh Hard choice But no "its too nice a day to be inside" Mum promises me we'll go tomorrow. |
| Day 5 - We
start to go to Tenby but the stupid engine dies again . Back in Ilfracombe
Great Lets go to the Cinema. "But its too nice a day to be inside " so we end up with pitch and put in which I lose badly - to Mum. That's gotta to be tough still … fish and chips cheers me up |
| Day 7 - We get to Tenby - More retail therapy |
Day 8 - I spend the whole day lying on the beach but heaven isn't heaven without ice cream so " double cone mint choc chip ice cream please and quickly so my parents don't see" |
| Day 9 - I
hate walking! I hate walking! I hate walking! Guess what we did today |
| Day 10 - We make our way to Dale . Not too bad …but I've felt better |
| Day 11 - I whiz around in a rubber dinghy . Great fun but not so fun when the outboard is only 2 HP, but one must not complain |
| Day 12 - We're
in Milford Haven and before you can say Where's Fiona ? I'm in Tescos shopping again. Saw the same sea lion as last year in the marina -So cute I wonder if he's from the hospital ? |
| Day 13 - New outboard but not for the dinghy Damn ! |
| Day 14 - We meet up with some friends and try to catch mullet on a kids rock pool net. Hmmm… |
| Day 15 - I'm stuck inside with a DVD Oh no! soooo depressing Not ! |
| Day 16 - We find a gorgeous beach and get a big sun tan, no truthfully sun burn |
| Day 17, 18 - Met a friend who has a dog with her - so cool we go around in Neyland doing stuff for the next 2 days |
| Day 19 - My friends Dad takes us out on a rib and it was so fast I loved it We went to Lawrenny and 2 pubs and we even took the dog ! |
| Day 20 - We meet more friends and go to Dale. We mess around have fun and retire back to Neyland . It was really fun |
| Day 21 - See
more friends go to beach in Dale again - fantastic we leave the boat in
Neland and they drive us back We then had a Indian meal out in Cardiff . but heaven isn't heaven without those nice sweets they give you with the bill. |
