Training at Cardiff Yacht Club
Shore Based Training
The Club is an RYA Recognised Training Establishment (RTE). As an RTE we are able to offer shore-based courses. Over the last few years the training team have successfully taught Offshore Yachtmaster Theory and Day Skipper.
Water Based Training
The Club has linked up with Cardiff University Sailing Club who were the first University club in the UK to be recognised by the RYA. Through our links with CUSC we are able to offer our members courses from Power boating to Dinghy Sailing.
If you are interested in doing any courses please leave a note on the forum in the training section, or behind the bar. Even if it is a course we do not currently run.
